Sofia de Azeredo Pereira is a Pharmacologist and Associate Professor at NOVA Medical School. She completed postdoctoral research at the National Center for Toxicological Research (USA) and Slotervaart Hospital (The Netherlands) in drug toxicity and therapeutic drug monitoring. She is the Principal Investigator of the Renal, Cardiovascular and Metabolic Pharmacology Group at iNOVA4Health-NMS. Translational by nature, Sofia is passionate about collaborative and multidisciplinary research that integrates experimental pharmacology with clinical application.
